2 cups frozen artichoke hearts, steamed or cooked
1 ½ cups canned chickpeas, drained
3 cloves garlic, crushed
¼ cup tahini
3 tbsps fresh lemon juice
2 tbsps extra-virgin olive oil
1 tsp cumin powder
¼ tsp black pepper
1/2 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
½ tsp red pepper flakes for garnishing
Place steamed artichoke hearts, chickpeas and all remaining ingredients in a food processor and process until smooth and creamy.
Serve in a bowl with chips. Garnish with red pepper flakes or powder.
