MNTN Restaurant Review
This upscale joint on Abbot Kinney Blvd by chef Travis Lett focuses on Izakaya style Japanese food. They also serve some excellent ramen bowls. Tried the Shio Ramen bowl which came with an excellent broth, house made noodles, pork, black pepper chashu, pickled fresno, fermented black bean paste, tamago. Also, had the Grilled Skirt Steak with red miso, marinated daikon greens; Grilled Saba with yuzu ponzu, daikon oroshi; Coal Steamed Eggplant, - all of these are recommended. Other options to try are Asari ramen, Tomato salad, Erika’s pickle plate, Jidori chicken wings, Grilled Mary’s duck breast skewer, Shiitake gyoza, Mushrooms baked in yuzu butter. The wait for a seat can be long so arrive early.
