Sweet & Tangy Cauliflower
500g cauliflower florets
25g chopped ground nuts (peanuts)
1 cup sour curd (yogurt)
1 green chili, minced
1 medium onion paste
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp red chili powder
2 bay leaves
1 ½ salt
½ tsp sugar
½ tsp garam masala
Heat the oil in a large pan over medium high heat.
Fry the cauliflower florets for 5 minutes. Remove from pan and set aside.
Add the curd, ginger, onion paste, turmeric, chili powder, bay leaves, garam masala.
Add the cauliflower and fry for 5 or 6 minutes.
In a separate pan, heat oil and fry the groundnuts, raisins, and then the cauliflower mixture. Season the mixture with sugar and salt.
Add ½ cup water and stir. Cook for 5-6 minutes till mixture thickens.
Remove from heat and serve.
