Pan Con Tomate Recipe
Pan con Tomate is one of the simplest and most popular dishes in Catalan cuisine.
1 loaf country bread
Few fresh cluster tomatoes
Extra virgin olive oil, as needed
Salt to taste
Slices of Serrano ham, as needed
Cut country bread in slices and toast them.
Cut the tomatoes in half. Then rub cut side of the tomato onto each bread slice generously.
Dress the bread slices with extra virgin olive oil and salt, to taste.
Finally place some Serrano ham on each bread slice and serve.
